"Sparking Imagination among our Community,” is our desire through the arts to inspire our youth & adults to see how the arts can open up for them experiences beyond what they can simply see in their everyday existence.
Project description: We will conduct a workshop in Camden, open to BAMA Kids and others, led by Idris Goodwin that will spark their imagination of what, how and why the arts are so important and needed in our communities today. The basic workshop content will be led by Idris including an interactive question and answer session, able to have participants questions answered is a vital element of the workshop. Participants will travel to the Alliance Theater in Atlanta to see a stage production and interact with performers, stage crews and others, again sharing opportunities to see how the arts motivated them in their choices.
